Requirements
- Minimum age: 15 years old
- Reliability, flexibility, and positive people skills
- Experience interacting with younger children
- Enthusiasm about supporting the children of our community
For certain volunteer opportunities the following attributes are helpful:
- The ability to stand or sit for long periods of time
- Ease of public speaking
- Willingness to learn and share local history
- Interest in STEM topics and science education
- Administrative abilities for programmatic needs
- Previous work with group facilitation
- Enjoyment in cleaning, organizing, and creating a safe space for children
- Ability and delight in reading aloud to children
