EarlyWorks Museums Announce Beth Bentley Goodwin as new Chief Executive Officer
EARLYWORKS MUSEUMS [HUNTSVILLE, AL] – EarlyWorks Museums, known in the community for more than 25 years as Alabama Constitution Hall Park and EarlyWorks Children’s Museum, is pleased to announce that the Board of Directors has unanimously appointed Beth Bentley Goodwin as the museums’ new Chief Executive Officer.
As CEO, Goodwin will be responsible for the overall implementation and day-to-day operations of the Museums, envisioning the organization’s future place in the community, and continuing a vision that emphasizes the visitor experience.
“We are thrilled to introduce Beth as the new CEO of EarlyWorks Museums,” said Chase Allen, chair of the Board of Directors. “She is an exceptional leader with a passion for education and a vision to empower the next generation of innovators. I am confident she is the right leader at the right time for our organization.”
Goodwin brings more than twenty-five years of experience in executive leadership, with twelve of those years at EarlyWorks. Prior to her EarlyWorks position, Beth used her extensive marketing experience to serve as the Director of Marketing for several organizations: the Huntsville Convention & Visitors Bureau, Alabama Mountain Lakes Tourism Association, Sevierville, TN Chamber of Commerce, NASCAR Speed Park, and the Lee Greenwood Theater. Beth’s professional experience extends into the areas of publicity and communications. She has also worked as a producer and reporter for television news companies in Nashville, Montgomery, and Huntsville. Goodwin currently serves as a board member for the Alabama Mountain Lakes Tourism Association and has served on the Tennessee Film Commission Board of Directors. She completed the Leadership Management Academy 5 in Huntsville, as well as Leadership Sevier County in Tennessee. A proud graduate of Auburn University, Beth holds a degree in Communications and Journalism.

Goodwin served the Museums as Director of Marketing until becoming Interim Executive Director in June 2024. She was officially voted into the role of CEO during late January, in time to help prepare EarlyWorks Children’s Museum for the summer exhibit – Paw Patrol: Adventure Play opening May 2025.
