About EarlyWorks Children’s Museum

EarlyWorks Children’s Museum is designed for children as a hands-on, interactive science and history museum. So go ahead—touch, climb, pull, explore! Children between the ages of 2 and 12 will have the most fun at the EarlyWorks Children’s Museum.

Toddlers enjoy Biscuit’s Backyard, a touch-and-learn area designated for preschoolers. Older children will have fun tinkering in our Tinker Lab or playing in the M.O.S.H. (Museum of Science and History) Pit.

  • Senior (55+) $10

Discounts

Discounted tickets must be purchased on site at our ticket desk to verify eligibility. Discounts may not be used in combination with any other discounts, promotions or special events.

  • Museums for All (w/ Valid EBT or SNAP card): $3 general admission (up to 4 visitors). Click here for more information.
  • Military Discount (w/ proof of Valid ID): $1 off each ticket for active/retired members
  • Teacher Discount (w/ proof of Valid ID): Free entry for teacher
  • ACM Reciprocal (w/ proof of ACM membership card): 50% off general admission for up to six (6) people. Additional visitors in your group will be asked to pay full admission

Parking

Parking for EarlyWorks Children’s Museum is available through metered street parking and a paid parking garage on Fountain Circle (weekends and after 5:00pm is free). Handicap parking is available on the north side of the museum off Gates Ave.

The M.O.S.H. Pit

The M.O.S.H. Pit (M.O.S.H is an abbreviation for Museum of Science and History) is a multi-purpose play/learn area. The M.O.S.H. Pit will host hands-on STEM activities that will change throughout the year.

Camellia’s Play Café is the ultimate let’s pretend restaurant. Kids don the apron, explain the daily specials, take the guests’ orders, and then deliver a delicious “make-believe” meal to the table.

The Tinker Lab

The Tinker Lab is a hands-on, science-inspired maker’s space inside EarlyWorks Children’s Museum, offering daily STEM activities. Each day the EarlyWorks Tinker Techs lead hands-on activities designed to introduce STEM concepts to young learners and their families. Visitors can also watch our 3D printers making all types of objects.

Imaginations can run wild in the Creative Corner with our giant Lego-style blocks. Kids can build anything they dream up.
